in my dreams
i carry tears in pots and pans
dripping from the caving ceiling
what's upstairs can't come out
it will break the brittle line
that i hold too dear
i fear
things would never be the same.

in my dreams
we stand in tides
our toes twinkling the stars
that dance across the ocean blue
and broke the camel's back
straws impaling achilles
it'd kill me
one i hold too dear
i fear
you'll leave me to drown alone
